2nd Gen. Civic question
Havent been in here for quite sometime and didnt know until now that a classic section has been added.
Anyhow, my question is:
I have a 1983 Civic hatchback S model. And from what I've gathered the suspension parts from the 88-91 Civic can be used on the car.
Is this true? If NOT what or where can I go to look for some lowering springs and upgrade for the shocks.?

Try this site: http://www.1stgencivic.com/
They have a section on second gens as well so it shouldn't be too hard finding what you are looking for

I would not think that 1988-1991 suspension parts would work on a 1983 Civic. I can tell you for a fact that 1988-1991 suspension components are RADICALLY different from 1984-1987 suspension components. So I would say that the same goes for 1980-1983 Civics. I also don't think 1980-1983 Civics used a double wishbone suspension like 1988-1991 Civics.
