Very cool build. I also remember the silver K20. I like how you tied it all together. This one looks like a solid start to another awesome finished product.

im impressed that you do not appear to have modified the firewall. we did a 1977 civic wagon with a d16a6 auto drive train about ten years ago and had to box part of the firewall for some clearance. looks like a great build though, i bet it will be a beast when it runs.

Very little needed to be trimmed ( upper stock motor mount ) but nothing off the firewall. This car is also a cvcc not a 1200 so I had almost 3 more inches to work with. Thanks for looking and the comments!

Excellent update on this car! I just have a question on what type of Painless kit did you use? Was it a basic race or off road sealed version? I'm gonna guess an 18 circuit fuse box?
That seems to be the way to go with a new wiring kit to help ease some of the wiring headaches.
Please keep us updated!

i cant beleive i stumbled into this forum and this post
i will be doing a similar build, on a lower end scale, in a 81 shell
still undecided to turbo or all motor. looking to autox after completion.
