1987 crx or 1985 civic si?
Hello all! I just wanted a couple opinions. What do you guys think would make for a better auto x vehicle a 1985 civic si or a 1987 crx si? Considering swaps and or stock motor. Stricly for autocrossing. Please do not post if you only want to talk trash or don't have an opinion. Thank you!

Essentially the same car, the '85 is slightly lighter and comes with the preferred 13" wheels vs. the 14's on the 86-87. The 85 uses the standard body pieces of the other models, the 86-87 uses unique cladding and bumper covers.
Nothing wrong with either car, I would buy the one in best condition.

well, in 85 there was no CIVIC SI, only a CRX Si. and generally the CRX's are better cause they have shorter wheelbases, and easier to rotate. very good CSP car.

Ah ok well the crx was sold :[. So now I must find a good autocrosser. So would an 85 civic be carburated? Because I do not want to go that route.
