1982 Civic Fuel Filter Location
Hi all, I've inherited a 1982 Honda Civic that has been sitting in a garage since 1994 and I'm on the mission to get it up and running again. It has only done 15k genuine km's and it ran perfectly before it was garaged, so hopefully it should just require a flushing and replacement of all fluids and filters. The engine turns easily by hand cranking but I've put a bit of oil in the cylinders anyways. The internet is epic for getting info and it has helped heaps so far but for the life of me I can't find the location of the fuel filter. Can anyone help?
I'll also gladly take any advice on giving the engine its spruce up. Cheers in advance!

You might as well pull those carbs off and clean it. It would be risky with finding gaskets/o-rings, but it wont take much driving before the build up in there clogs it all up.
Those cars are a little before my time, but later carbs had the inline filter on the fuel line from firewall to carb and themain filter mounted under the rear next to the gas tank. It would look like a little plastic pod in a metal sleeve. Just slots and clips in, but they can get so dirty they blend in with everything else.
