im pretty sure it is just a single voice coil, i would try and get the dual voice coil subs though if i were you, that would match to the amp nicely. if it is a svc (single voice coil) then you need an amp stable at 4 ohms and pushing 250-300 watts rms. dvc (dual voice coil) subs are worth it because you can wire them a couple of ways so you have more amp choices, they go for about 100 a piece here in the us without the box, but sometimes there are buy one get one free sales. i have a 12 inch infinity dvc reference sub and i love it
to infinity. 10's sound really good as well. i should have bought the 10.
as long as you match the sub specs to the amps then you should be fine.

well if you can find an amp that matches nicely to the svc then you can get the svc, you should not buy the setup you listed though. i don't think there is any sound difference between dvc and svc.

I agree with FCM. The sub would be nice. I have a Rockford Fosgate 900watt max, 300 watt RMS amp for sale if your interested. Has the extended 4 year warranty on it too. PM me if your interested.
