wires for kill switch

ok i found my wires that i should cut for my kill switch. the wires i have to cut are green and yellow . when i cut these wires should i buy the same colored wires ? is there a difference ?

colors dont matter just make sure its the same gauge wire

As stated, wire color does not mean anything.

If you want the wiring to look low key and oem get basic colors(notice there are no hot pinks or neone greens anywhere)
