Default wire selection ?

OEM wires are too short to connect a set of tweeters to the speaker. I have a twin wire that has the same diameter, size and thickness of the oem ones. The universal twin wire is silver and bronze. Does it matter if I extend/connect the oem (+) to the silver or the bronze wire and the oem (-) to the remaining one?

not if the wire is universal it doesnt matter. But just as a mental note if i use universal wires i put the positive with the bronze(its kinda redish and reminds me its postive) Like your battery terminal red=postive and black=negative. I installed to many systems i get confused easily
