Default will this work

i am going to put a tv in my integra but there is a problem with the in dash flip out kind hitting the air vents so i am goin to get a tv like people put in the head rest and rip my old cd player out and fit it in their with the help of some fiberglass work. i am planning on getting a dvd unit and putting it in the glove box but i was wondering if i get a ps2 would it be able to serve as my main cd player and dvd so i would only have to buy one thing instead of 2 or more. im also wondering if i could later on hook up a couple subs to the ps2 that i will most likely do in the future. im not sure if this is a good way to go about things or not. if you have any helpfull info it would be much appreciated.

you could use a ps2 as your main dvd or cd player but you might have a problem with it skipping

also you couldn't use it to run your amps because of the output not only is it a low voltage signal but also it is not variable (i.e. no volume control) you could do it if you got a aftermarket RCA line driver that had a volume control but by that time your probably looking at the price of a deck any ways
