Will 04-05 oem civic cd player fit in 2000 honda civic?

Default Will 04-05 oem civic cd player fit in 2000 honda civic?
I have searched and have yet to find any info on the possibility of putting an 04-05 oem civic cd player into a 2000 Civic. Looking at pictures the plugs look identical but I don't know if they will physically fit into place. Has anyone tried this or know if it will work?

It should fit, mounting will need some mods. 94
