Why does my amp turn on and off randomly?
check all the connections. my friend forgot to crimp all the way down(dont ask) his remote wire and it would turn off and on when he would stop or go. Oh also check your ground make sure its touching a clean surface! Hope it helps!
Need more info, when does it shut down randomly? Randomly as in anytime, motor running or not, driving or not, at high or low volume, after it's been on for some time or right away, or randomly, when making a hard right turn at high speed and hitting a pothole with the read left wheel and listing to AC/DC, right after you installed the JDM head lights
Please be as specific as you can, "why does my amp turn on and off randomly"is a little vague, and the advice I could give to that would be just as vague.

after about like 20 min of driving or so it will turn off for like 1 min then turn on for 1 min then so on.
Running audiobahn 2xchannel amp=400wtts bridged
2 10" audiobahn capable of holding 300wats each.
my wires came with the amp when i bought it they are puny? My ground is in good. my wire on the batter is in good. whats the problem here. My friend told me my amp just isnt strong enough so it turns off. but people run 12's off this amp. check circuitcity.com its the 4000tt or something along those lines.

it's probably overheating. see if there's a different way to mount it so it will cool better. and if it's not that, make sure all your power cables are decent, make sure all your connections are clean and secure, especially your ground. report back.

2 x 100 into 4ohms
2 x 200 into 2ohms
1 x 400 into 4ohms
The A4002T is not stable below 4ohms when bridged.
There is an A4004T but it's a 4ch.
There is an AW1051T a 10" 300watt DVC 4ohm sub
If you have 2 of them and the VCs and the speakers are wired in parallel it would be a 1ohm load, and that would be to low for the amp, you would need to wire the VCs in series and then parallel the speakers for a 4ohm load.
There is an AW1051SE also a 300watt DVC 4ohm 10" sub, same would go for it.
Sounds to me like you have an amp that is really not powerful enough to drive a pr. of 300watt subs, [you really need 600watts into 4ohms] and it also sounds like you may have the subs wired in parallel to a 1ohm load, [too low for the amp] so the amps thermal switch is kicking in when the amp gets to hot, "puny" power wire will not help.
