Default where to run wire...

ok, i'm wondering where the best place to run a single wire from mr dash, into the engine bay would be? I'm putting in an alarm, and i need to run a wire out to the horn.
thanks
edit: it's in a 92 civic dx

theres hella places along the firewall.. just look for those black plugs/grommets and whichever is closest to whatever your installing would be the easiest... you could always just drill a new hole and get a rubber grommet and run the wire there....

by horn you mean alarm siren? or are you putting in air horns in addition to your alarm siren?

anyway for the alarm siren.. you can put it in the fenderwell, or like under the stock air box... you can also put it behind the intake manifold between the IM/throttle body and firewall... but then its pretty easy to see/accessible and easy to cut the wires..
