where to ground your system
hi everyone...just wondering where is the best place to ground your amp in the trunk of my civic.i keep getting shock when i touch the car, anyone had this happen to them??i currently ground my amp where i sanded down a spot near the left rear wheel inside the trunk.just wanna know where others ground their amps without getting shock all the time

thanks for the space</TD></TR></TABLE> Any place on the floor pan of the car, keep the ground lead as short as you can, there are lots of bolts that go into the floor pan, [seatbelt bolts, seat bolts, rear bumper, and others] the advantages of using an exsisting bolt are 1- no drilling a hole in the car, 2- you can tighten a bolt a lot tighter then you can a screw. The shock you are getting is static electricity, it has nothing to do with with the sound system.
