Default What is the difference?

hey guys......sorry for such a dumb question but what is the difference between
4 ohm and 2 ohm.....im looking into gettin 2 fasgates....but i dunno if i should get 2 or 4 ohm.......which is louder or does it matter? and how do i hook this up?

yes it matters which ones you get, but its not about which ones are louder, there all the same, its about how you wire them to your amp. if you have a 2ch amp you'll want to go with the single 2ohm subs, or dual 4ohm. if you have a mono block, stable at 2ohm mono, you'll want to go with single 4ohm or daul 2ohm. this is if your going to wire 2 subs to the amp.
