Default weird problem I'm having.

Car is 1990 CRX Si pretty much stock. Basically what happened is awhile ago I had my center console taken apart so I could remove the climate control to work on it. When I put everything back together the stereo wouldn't work anymore. BTW stereo is 2000 Civic Si. Anyway, after some trouble shooting I found that the main power for the stereo (red wire) had gone dead. I'm getting no voltage at all from the red wire. Everything else is fine including the yellow "constant power" wire. I ended up re-routing the power wire from the stereo to the cig lighter so it'll work fine...but I would like to know if this is something that has happened to anyone else before. I'd ideally like to go back and fix it up if possible. Thanks

I would check and make sure that the red of the harness is wired to the yellow/red of the cars harness, also if I remember right, there is a relay, [small metal box] right under the back of the HU, mounted to the HUs rear support brace, did you plug it back in when you reinstalled the console? 94
