I had the sub volume up all the way and i was playing a track when it made the bass go very low adn i hear a pop pop pop noise. When i get out and look the sub was loose but it was not cracked or damaged anywhere. I see a large metal ring that is just sitting there out of place is there something i can do to fix this or.......

 

large metal ring..take a picture of it.

 

I dont have a camera but any other suggestions would be very helpful......

 

Is it the metal ring that holds the surround on?
