Viper Install Question...
Sup Guys,
My wife owns a 2000 Honda Accord EX V6. Recently i found out that her car has a parasitic drain. I replaced the Die Hard Gold Battery with a new one (under warranty). I plan on trying to diagnose where the drain is coming from using a multimeter. I suspect it may be the viper alarm (model 5900) which was installed less than a year ago. However, i noticed that there are no wires connected to the battery for the viper alarm. If it isnt connected to the battery where else could it be connected to?

The alarm doesn't hook directly to the battery. It's hooked up to a constant 12v power source. I highly doubt that the alarm is causing battery drain. These alarms draw less than a amp when armed.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
It generally takes three days. The old Die Hard Gold battery was 11 months old. However it was replaced with a new one this weekend.
The reason i suspect the alarm is because i didnt have this problem prior to the alarm install. Where i also installed an air horn.
I guess my question now is, how can i temporarily disconnect the alarm?

Excuse my ignorance, although i have removed the panel and seen the under side of the driveside dashboard. What do i unplug the white harness from? I believe there are three items, the 555U bypass, the shock sensor and the main Black box (dont know what you call it).
