I have the viper 5900 sst and the problem that i have is if i arm the system it won't send a comfir page back at all if lock or unlock and if i arm i can't disarm right away i have to keep pushing the button or try again later and it will work, and my transmitter beeps to tell me the page didn't go thru i have replaced the transmitter but is still the same what else can i do please help

Try a reboot, disconnect batt. neg.(-), wait 15 min. and reconnect.

Check alarms ground, confirm it is a good ground to chassis.
Check ant., unplug and make sure a pin has not been bent out of the way. 94

 

thanks for the reply i did thry to disconnect the batt for i only did it for like 8 sec. i will try 15 min. and i did check the antenna i'll re-check the grounds and i'll post some new info THANKS A LOT

have you played with any settings on the remote. There is a setting on the remote that will not allow the remote to receive any pages from the alarm system.

 

no i didn't know it did that do u know how to check?? or what is the setting called ??

that's what the car is doing it will lock but if i try to unlock right away it won't work
if i walk away and come back later it will work and during this whole time the transmitter doesn't receive a page back from the car

 

somebody please help!!!!
