Default Type-R

I was wondering who makes the Type-R. Does anyone have a site so I can check out the specs? Also a place where I can get it cheap. I always hear about how good they are.

the w6v2 is better... tye Type R is more compared to with the JL W3v2.
I'd say the Type R is a great budget subwoofer but i would still take the w3v2 over the Type R for a little more money.

i have a alpine typer sub model 1241d which is a 12" 4 ohm dvc.. i have it wired down to 2 ohms and then have my amp bridged so the amp sees a 1 ohm load.. make sure the amp can handle that ammount of load or turn the gain down.. this this is badass.. i work at circuit so i get **** for a good deal or i would probably have an jl w6v2 cause the jl subs are badass.. this will do for me for now.. all subs do is add weight and a better drive on long trips.. i recommond the sub all the time to customers..

The Alpine Type-R sub is an awesome SQ budget sub. You can achieve amazing results with them and they take a fair bit of power too. On a budget, i would easily recommend them.

I agree. I have 2 10" type r's and they sound great and thump hard. Just make sure you have a good amp too!
