Yea... my friend is willing to sell these too me... The are as the title says
-Two 12" Alpine Type E subs in a box for 400 CANADIAN dollars

Im not much in audio so im not knowledgeable on this stuff...

Is this a good deal? Are these subs worth getting? WHat kind of AMP will i need to power these two?

give me your thoughts...

They have them for $80 each US... your $400 Canadian $ equates to $300 US... so you figure you can get two new ones for $160, leaving you $120 for a box. You should be able to find a box for under $100 US easy. Most premade dual 12 boxes run like $80 bucks.

Yeah yeah, don't forget about shipping... it's gonna add up I'm sure. Again, the only thing is they would be brand new out of the Alpine box. but with shipping you'll most likely end up at about the same price you're at now. So it's up to you, if you think the subs look like they are in good shape, pretty new, etc... might not be a bad deal.

its not worth it, i can get alpine type e for $60 a piece, so that is $120, and then u can go get a box for around $40-50 at a local audio shop or $20-30 on ebay, not including shipping.
