Default tv problem.

Im not sure what brand tv i have but its a TFT screen i believe, with the power, ground and vid in all connected to the same spot on the TV. I have it on a switch with a house dvd player running from a DC/AC converter. The problem is that while watching a movie the top part of the screen goes fuzzy and sideways, but the rest is fine. I have tried different dvd players and such but its always the same. Anyone have any idea whats up with it? I have not tried a new ground, but i have tried moving the tv away from everything else electrical.

yup. Usually the screen is okay, the source is all fudged up. And where are you plugging the power invertor to and where are you drawing the power for the lcd screen? if it is the same source under a same fuse, your gonna run into problems.

the power inverter is pluged into a cig lighter i put in, and the tv is running on a line seperate from that. Its on a line directly to the battery, but the ground is the same as the cig lighters. I'll try running another ground and a another power, because i think there are other things on the power wire too.
