thinking of geting a sound system
I want to get a desent sound system for resonable cash.
I want two 12'' sub rms 500w,two 6x9 rms 500w,
two mids same rms and deck pop out screne cd/dvd same brand.
need feed back

I like saurn. it has more power than it get credt for.

2k is a very nice price to start with.
Selecting just 1 or 2 brands is not a good idea because most brands are famous or specialize in only certain items. Eg....Alpine is famous for their headunits but not for their speakers. Focal makes great speakers but do not make headunits. Some other brands like Sony make almost everything but it is the consensus on this forum that generally all sony car audio products suck. So spread your money out over a variety of brands for the best system

Speakers depending on budget focal/mb quart/infinity/seas/cdt/boston acoustics (more towards your own preference)
Amps PPI/JBL/Phoenix Gold etc etc
Subs JL audio/Image Dynamics
