i want to buy either a 1 12w7 or 2 12w6v2 and i am having a hard time on deciding on which to go with. I have a Rockford 1000bd to run either of them. Whatever i decide on i will go withe a jl box to go with it, no custom **** from me. Which will be better. i'm putting it in a 93 civic. Thanks

 

I personally think that the 2 12w6v2's will be louder.

 

just go with one, simpler, cleaner, and if your going with JL boxes, much smaller with one.

 

what about if i go with a simple custom wood box? would you guys say that the 2 w6v2's will still be louder?

 

louder is not always better. if your putting it in a small vehicle, you can have two subs in small sealed boxes. Or you can have on in slot port box, that will sound much nicer. I am more into sound, not pound or bling, so theirs my two cents

 

i would get the w6s and only get one
