Default subs in a del sol?

I need advice on how to fit two 10inch subs behind the seats of my del sol. I have removed the storage bins. I dont want to spend alot of money on a custom box from a shop, and I will probably build one myself. Anyone done this before? I am getting these subs: http://www.audiobahninc.com/pr....html
and want the box to be sealed. The subs need .25-.75 airspace each, preferably as big as possible without losing to much seat space, etc. Should I have the subs in two different enclosures or one? Should they fire up, down, at an angle? Any advice is welcome. I am an not too experienced in car audio, so keep that in mind.

Since you asked for advice, here's mine: Don't buy Audiobahn.

audiobahn is decent for showing the backs at shows but for everyday listening pleasure, they are not that good. If you were going for sound quality then i would say JL Audio. As for the direction of the sub firing i would say at a angle. Just my opinion

alright, no audiobahn, but what then, I need two tens that require relatively little airspace, and not too expensive.

yeah, I have checked that out, but it is way to pricey for me, I would get a custom fiberglass box before I got that

you could try some alpine type-r's or infinity kappa perfects. I think they dont require that much air-space.

i put two twelves in the back area i know they dont have enough space to make the best sound but i think they sound great... basicly what i had to do was get a big box and put it directly behind the seats and then i got two six by nine boxes on the side of that. i placed the amps below it so i had to create a platfor for the speakers and then a little platform below the speakers to hold the amps it works great and it is very intimidating when you look behind you and see to huge 12s!

did you make the box yourself? got any pics? I think I am going to just quit being cheap and get a fiberglass box from this website http://www.customcaraudiosystems.com/index.htm
and get one 12inch infinity kappa or Alpine type R, unless neone else has ne better advice

how much are you going to spend? There are lots of 10s that will fit in a small enclosure. Some are $50, some are $300, etc

didnt plan on spending too much, but I guess no one ever does. I might build my own box and not spend over $300 for the sub and enclosure, or I might get a custom fiberglass box for $250 and spend over $500 after it is all said and done. I have decided to get a nice 12inch sub and just do one 12 instead of two tens, probably alpine type r or infinity kappa. I am leaning towards building my own box and having the sub in between the seats, with the sub on a slant firing forward

oh crud..i was selling my 2 10's too. lol!

definitely build your own enclosure. You have control over optimizing the space for your setup.

i got the jl box in my car. i found one on ebay for like $400 with subs. And it is worth all the money. Since the sol has a small cab the bass hits really nice. and frees up the trunk and you dont hear rattling. Definetly one of my favorite parts.
