Sub with 4 channel amp
I bought some used stereo stuff from a friend for cheap. It includes a 12 inch sub, 4 channel kenwood amp http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...0&I=113KAC849+, and a wiring kit for it. I wanted to know if I could use the 4 channel amp to power the sub, I dont know anything about stereo systems but could install this myself.

It really depends on what you want to do. If you want to power just the sub with that amp, then the sub had better be a dual voice coil model.
Let us know what else you have in your system (head unit, amps speakers, etc) then let us know more info about the sub...be as specific as possible and we can help you out.
The sub is a panasonic, I have no idea what model, but its silver and the surface has dents to imitiate metal floor mats.
The headunit is the alpine cda-7894.
I have new speakers in the front and 3-way speakers in the back.
