What's up HT. I have a 1994Honda Civic EX Coupe and the owner that last had it did some funky stuff to the audio system. Lemme tell ya what he had:


3 Amps;
1 for the front speakers
1 for the rear speakers and
1 for the subwoofer.

Sounds good heh? NO! Sounds like royal crap. So me being "smart" (emphasis on smart!)I decide to unistall everything and just wire everthing back to stock. Well I soon found out that the last owner also had a Equlizer,(Which is still their, just dunno how to use) and it's hooked up some funky way. ANyways, I was coming here to ask what type of job that sound like to hook up the stock sound system. I want my system to be like this:


All Speakers hookep up to stereo
1 amp for 1 sub

Simple Stuff. Here are some of my questions also if anyone could answer:

Do I have to have the stock head unit?
Is there a place where i can look at a stock wiring diagram online?
If i do need a stock head unit could i still use the EQ?

This is my first Honda (Yippee)

ANY help would be very useful.
