Default static problem

just recently while playing my radio i get static on every radio channel. when i play cd's everything is fine so it has something to do with reception. the funny thing is when i get in the car in the morning after it has sat over night, i will get perfect reception. then after about 10 minutes of driving the static slowly comes in and takes over. there will be breif moments when it will come back in. im using my oew power antenna on my integra. it goes up and down perfectly. no bends or any damage to the antenna. checked the back of the headunit and everything seems fine. anyone have any ideas? thanks for any help

</TD></TR></TABLE> It is an ant. problem, and it is most likly in the HU itself,[ cold solder joint] as static comes on and takes over slowly,[ as HU warms up] you can test to see if its in the HU by just plugging in an ant. into the HU , just lay the mast on the floor, the reception will be poor but it will tell you if the problem is in the HU or in the power ant. BTW is it on AM and FM. 94
