Antenna Retraction Problem
For some reason, the antenna on my car will rise when I turn on the head unit, but won't retract when I turn it off. Any idea on what it could be or how I could fix it? It sounds like the mechanism to retract the antenna isn't catching.

Open your trunk, and listen to it. Have a friend help you out. 
If you can hear it "whine" but it dont come down then the gear may not be catching

Mine does the same now.......before, everytime i put in a cd, it would go down...but now it stays up until i turn off my car or or turn off my radio

I think that's exactly what is happening. Is there any way to get in there and poke around?
