hi i am new to this n i wuz wonderin if u guyz knew how 2 replace the front n bak speakers in a 91 integra ls 2dr. i could probably figure it out but i dont want 2 break ne thing i want 2 do it rite the first time. also i just bought my teg n the guy who had it b4 me had an alarm installed in it. the brand is code alarm. last friday the doors unlocked and locked when u armed and disarmed the alarm. well when i came home on sunday the doors didnt unlock or lock when i armed or disarmed the alarm. i checked the power lock fuse and its fine. also when u turn the car on n the doors lock and when u turn the car off n the doors unlock. it doesnt do that ne more. please help thanks

 

speakers, go to circuit city. All 4 speakers installed for $36.
check the battery on your code alarm remote.

 

but i want 2 do them myslef. could it b the battery??? cuz the alarm still armz n disarmz

 

the fact that your doors lock and unlock when you turn the key to ignition and take the key out of ignition.... that is standard on the alarm. The Alarm will do that but to activate the alarm, you need the transponder (the remote). Most likey you need a new battery. install speakers?? pop door panels and you should see screws. if the speakers are on the rear deck (4 door) you have to take the top speaker grill/dash off and unscrew the speakers on top. if on side (hatch) you need to either open the speaker grill or remove the whole interior 1/4 panel.

As for the alarm, did you get 2 remotes for the alarm? [ most alarms can have up to 4 remotes programed to them] if not, someone has a remote for your car, I would erase all remotes and reprogram the ones you have, the 91 LS did not come with power doorlocks, so the ones you have are aftermarket, you will have to find the relays for the PDL , and check them or the fuse on the power wire for the relays, also it may be the ground for the relays, these relays may be built into the alarm brain, in that case there will be 6 wires,[thick compared to the rest] 2 will have 12v+ constant fused, 2 will be grounded, and 2 will be wired to the PDL motors. check the fuse,ground and all the connections for doorlocks.

it's not the batt, or did you mean ,when you TRY to arm and disarm the alarm?

 

yea i can still arm n disarm my alarm just not lock n unlock the doors
