Default speaker wire question

i just got a 90 civic sedan, and the connectors were cut off of the spaeker wire. in the front on each side i have a grey/black wire and a blue/blkack wire, which one is positive and which one is negative? thanks for your help

OIC, on most if not all aftermarket speakers, when there is a small and a large terminal the large terminal is the pos.(+) and the small is the neg.(-), keep in mind it makes no diff. how you connect them, as long as both the left and right are connected the same way, output from an amp is AC. 94

usually the one with the stripe is negative. the solid colored wire is positive.

Left Front (+) Blue/Green
Left Front (-) Gray/Black
Right Front (+) Red/Green
Right Front (-) Brown/Black

These should be the wire color behind the head unit, the colors inside the doors are often different. You can always check with Volt/Ohm meter set to continuity.
I am pretty sure the gray/black wires in the doors are the (-)'s.

lol..i was referring to a standard cd player wire harness. my fault. i read it wrong. i just caught what i meant.
