Default Speaker Wire brands?

I going to be getting a 4-channel amp soon so I can run my Infinity Kappas off it. I want to know which are some good brands for speaker wire also which size I should get. Thanks.

monster and fosgate are good.
i have infinity kappa also so does my friend i use 12 g. and he uses like 16 g. they both sound hella good so the wire g. isnt going to make that much of a noticible diff. in sound quality.

Dude, you are talking about speaker wires. Just find something dedicated to car audio. They usually have more strands than stuff at Home Depot...which will lead to an easier install because they are much more flexible. The hardest thing is finding the color you like.

Don't agree that it's crap but I try to stay away from "monster" branded stuff after learning of there BS lawsuits they use for anyone that tries to use the word monster.

Monster stuff is ok buy not that much better than other brands you can get at a fraction of the cost. Rockford Fosgate is good a long with Stinger. I honestly would just pick up a roll of speaker wire at wal-mart.

Monster is by no means crap, some of their high end cable is pretty amazing. Their low end stuff is just like any other cable with a monster labe and nice pretty little plastic ends and such. The low end cable is just not the best value from them. Like ATF, I'm also useing Knukonceptz. I rand Stinger RCA Interconnects and used Knukonceptz for power and speaker wires and to relocate my batteries. As I see it, or when I bought it, it was the best bang for the buck.

I have always used Stinger Pro series. I ran 14 gauge for my infinity kappas. You can't beat the price. http://www.cardomain.com

Honestly, wire is pretty much wire. Dont be fooled with the $100 a foot crap. What you want is something that conducts well, a real pure copper will do that. You arent going to even be able to hear differences between a monster cable and home depot cable.

Thats a strech, you might not be able to hear the difference between a few audio cables, but home depot stuff is just not designed for audio. If youve ever bought electronics and used then included cables, and then upgraded to better ones, you notice an obvious difference.

I have all Stinger HPM and Pro in my car. It has some of the highest strand counts <right up there with PG and others>and sounds great.

I would say it depends more on the connector than the wire, if you have a shitty connection to the wire, then yes, you will have signal loss, but as long as you have a good solid connection to some decent, relatively oxygen free copper, i can bet that you cant tell a difference for ****.
