Default Speaker size for Integra?

What size speakers are in a 1996 LS? I want new speakers but I want to keep the oem look but have quality sound from the oem radio. Was there any tweeters available for the Integra.

stocks are 5.25 but you could easily put 6.5 with 1/2" spacers like I did and still fit behind the dooor panel. You could find gSR door panels that already have tweeters and grills built in or flush mount on your ls panels. If you flush mount em and decide to sell your car later you would have to leave the tweets in or have some empty holes

"stocks are 5.25"
Actually they are standard 6.5" speakers, [not to be confused with over-sized 6.5" speakers] and there are more then a few that will fit without modes, Eclipse, Pioneer and Infinity all make speakers the are a direct fit.

As mentioned there is a stock tweeter available.

Although replacing the stock speakers will make a differance, it is a very small differance compared to the differance you get if you replace the stock HU and use the stock speakers.

If the source is the same, [stock HU] then changing speakers will make little differance, an increase in high frequency response because of the addition of a tweeter can be expected but that's about it.

The limiting factor is the RMS output of the stock HU, [not much]. 94
