Any of you see the MTX SledgeHammer yet? I know it's rediculous and wouldn't be something I'd purchase (i bet wayyyyyy too much $$ and the weight.. damn!)

Just wanted to get your impressions of this sub before it really comes out.. think it will be a sub you'll see doing well in competition with that XMax and VC size... ?

heres a motor that i think would BLOW AWAY the jack hammer with an peak to peak Xmax almost 6.5" yeah six and a half inches i think you will agree. http://www.adireaudio.com/Text...t.htm

 

Sounds like way too much, it'll blow up your internals. I sat in a SUV that had a 15" Eclipse Titanium, with a RF Power series 3001 , 3000 Pure watts running into that beast..it hurt my body, and could hardly breath..way too much.

i have a friend a couple of years ago with 4 rockford power HX2 in the back seat of his truck. I cant remember how much power it was, but i know the feeling "could hardly breath"

 

used to have a blazer with 4 cerwin xl12d's and an orion amp.. my body would ache after awhile of listening to them..

could litteraly shoot quarters off my roof as well.. pretty cool

 

back when i was in high school (not too long ago) i got a 98' sidekick for my bday. so what did i do? 4 12's and 3000watts RMS "Quarters!"
I loved to do 20hz sine sweeps, before you could even hear the bass the roof was slamming up and down

its fun isnt?? makes for a good show as well

i have some bass cd, that i guess is used for db testing and what not, but it goes through all dif bass levels, its weird how you wont hear anything but your whole body goes numb.
