Default Shark attack antenna question

My radio has a chirping sound every 2 seconds. It doesn't matter if it is AM or FM. The stock antenna was replaced with an amplified Shark attack II antenna from ebay. The annoying chirp is there when the car is not running and when it is running, so I know it is not some sort of ignition noise. Any ideas? thanks in advance for some insight.

First, unplug the antenna and see if it goes away. That will tell us if it is the ant or radio.
