Default antenna delete

Hello, I have a question.... I wanna have my antenna delete on my integra gsr 2001 because is a pain everytime the stop working you still heard that stupid noise, anyways my question is the radio will work the same??? And other thing I want to know is if the antenna from the honda s2000 will fit?

yes, it will work, and yes, the s2k antenna will fit. this is a popular mod.

this one is basically the same as the s2k antenna but cheaper:

You can put a switch on the power antenna line and it won't go up and down. The radio will still pick up certain signals with the antenna down, but it won't be as clear. With no antenna, the radio will not work.

Radio reception for me is OK, but definitely not as good as the power antenna (although I'm not sure if the antenna in my car is amplified or not). Pretty much I can get most stations clearly, but the signal strength is not as good as my roommate's stock Toyota Matrix lol.

About to do something similar to this once my car gets out of the bodyshop, because I'm not a fan of where the antenna is currently relocated to: http://www.team-integra.net/forum/di...PagePosition=1

how hard is to install it? can i do it my self?? andthe water is not gonna goinside the car because is an aftermarket antenna? thank you all for your anwers,they really help.

There are instructions on the website. It's easy to do. Shouldn't leak water, but if you are worried about it put some silicone on interior side of the hole.
