Default Sensitivity on the Viper alarm.

Ive had this alarm for almost a month, and have never had any problems with sensitivity. I had a proximity sensor installed with it too, which was never activated unless you got close enough to the car for it go off. Well last night, we had a huge rainstorm and the alarm and the sensor kept going off almost every three minutes. I cant ever park next to a parked car without it going off. It feels like the sensitivity was adjusted, but I did not adjust it. What could this be? Faulty wiring problem? Or just somehow the sensitivity was adjusted?
Anyone have this problem with theirs?

Open up the under part of your dash, look for the sensor, should be a clear unit, with some wires going to it, get a screw driver, there is a part on the side to make it more sensitive or less sensitive turn it and make it less, i have mine turned very unsensitive
