I'm not sure where I should post this.

My question is, how much integrity does a door popper have. I was planning to shave my door handles and install door poppers, but I heard that it's easy to find the frequency of the keyless entry. Thank you.

Use the EXT outputs of a good alarm,[ codehopping antiscan] to trigger the poppers. 94

I was about to buy a standard door popper kit for 300. Since you brought that up, where can I find that "EXT Scanner" at? My brain scrambled when you brought that up, unless you're just talking out of your ***. (no offense)

Would you mind giving me an example of a brand that's really good. Also, so are you saying to buy the kit and alarm and I should be good to go. You were specifcally talking about the alarm that had that special feature right? Thanks.

What you need in the alarm is no less then 2 EXT. outputs, the rest is up to you .
Compustar also make very good alarms and alarm/starters, both 1 way and 2 way pager systems and they have at least 2 EXT outputs.
When you say"kit", as long as the "kit" does not come with a R/F mod. [ a remote control] you have that with the alarm, all you need are the door poppers and hardwear to mount them ,[ unless it comes with a relay pack, you will need at least two relays. 94

Ahh, I understand now. Just get the poppers themselves and not the remote. Buy the pricey alarm and have it's 2 ext connected w/ the poppers so, I'd probably have to buy 2 sets. Thanks for the input.
