What's your budget, and does it have to be Rockford or Alpine?

2K for everything, or just a sub and amp? Get 2 15" L7's and port them. You can use 2 of these amps to push them (they're $325 a piece).

You can use the rest for electrical upgrades. Should get you into the mid 150's easily.

I pefer JL's. there is nothen like JL's I have (2) 15" W1 and still kicking @$$ (I had them since they came out into the market) I should upgrade to the W6 or W7. Naa my W1 is still thumping, no need to upgrade them now.

I've got 2, 12" Alpine Type R's and a 1000 watt Rockford amp pushin them and it sounds damn good. Nice clean bass that hits hard as ****.

How loud do you want to be and how much space do you have?

SPL boxes are generally large and tuned high. 5+ cubes for a 15 is not uncommon.

BTW, one 13w7 with 2k watts can do 150+.

You may want to check out the SPL forum on termpro http://www.termpro.com
