Security system: Prestiage city tuff with a TRANSMITTER remote and a PAGER remote
Problem is: TRANSMITTER remote is broken BUT PAGER Remote works fine.
Solution: Got a USED Transmitter(SAME model and number as the broken one), which works.

HERE'S MY QUESTIONS: I'm going to reprogram the USED TRANSMITTER this week(I got the instruction on how to program the transmitter), does reprogramming the Transmitter change the setting of my PAGER remote? Do I have to reprogram the PAGER remote as well? I mean, the pager is working fine, nothing wrong with it and I don't want to reprogram it.
HT members please help me out.

not for sure but i just got one today and by reading up on it mine can have up to 4 transmiters. when you're programing them, up to 4 can be programed at one time. so if you had 2 and one broke.... and then you got another one and programed it (which now makes 3 that are being used by the alarm) you still have another one you can program before one of the others (probably one of the first two you had) gets droped off of the alarms memory.
Thats how I think im understanding it but ive only had it today and i havent tried or needed to do it yet. Dont know if yours is the same either. I thnk mine is the 996 or 995 model.

yeah just go ahead and do both to get it out of the way and just in case.
