Default replacing the entire audio system.. question.

Im going to be replacing the entire stock speaker system in a 94' Nissan Pathfinder and i needed to know what would be the best way of doing this...
I was thinking two inifinty component systems with a amp.. is this a good way of doing this? .. would i need a 2 channel or 4 channel amp? is there a better way of doing this?

BTW: the car had a stock clarion system. four tweeters, two 6.5s, two 6x7s

If you put in two sets of components, you will need a 4-channel amp.
