Razor blade & ammonia worked for me.

Start peeling from one edge, use ammonia to soften adhesive and wipe off. Repeat.

Razor blade, or if you can get ahold of a steamer, that works as well and then just peel it off.

I wouldn't... You wouldn't want to inadvertently drip some on your door and strip the paint.. Also, since the tint is plastic, the stripper will melt the tint and make it into one big gooey sticky mess...

Ammonia may take a tad longer, but it'll be much safer.

I think it took me a little over an hour when I pulled the tint off the front two windows on my Civic.. I used a small spray bottle full of ammonia and sprayed it on generously after I pulled the tint off...

I was gonna say that to. The heat gun is usually the easiest method. Takes a little time but it works badass.

Kinda off topic, but with fingers coming up in the rear window when I put the tint on I get so many fingers that are impossible to get out it seems, would a heat gun and smoothing it out do the trick?

I am in the process of taking mine off right now 85% done. Very easy wit ammonia and trash bag in the sun. Took off tint and most glue. The little glue that is left over I went over with steel wool 0000.

I didnt have any problem at all, just let let the ammonia soak in with the trashbag method long enough. I didnt even have to scrape anything off. Glue and everything came off.

I had a tint shop steam my 20% off on the rear window to replace it with 5%.

Defroster still works perfectly
