Default Relocating hood release for security....

I was wondering if this could be done for my G3 Integra.
I'm not talking about relocating the cable from under the drivers side wheel well, but rather relocating the latch in the cabin, by the drivers side dead pedal. Is there a way to lock it or move its location?
I would think this would make it more difficult for would be theives to break the glass, pop the hood and have their way in the engine bay.....

Any ideas??

You could relocate it at the top of your grill or something. It's just like a bicycle brake line with less force our taurus is custom theft proofed by me lol i was gonna openthe hood and the handle came off so now you gotta pull this little tab thingy. or you could relocate it to the bottom of the car.

Yeah, it can be done, but relocating it in the engine bay is more secure, because the cable will still be accesable even if you move the handle mechanism without having to break the windows. If a theif wants access to your engine bay, smashing the window isn't what they'll be doing.

My Dad is in the Car Alarm business and the best bet to keep them from getting under your hood is a Hood Lock.

If you have an alarm all you would need is a seliod like from trunk pop kit and hook it up somewhere under the dash and then hit a button on your alarm to pop your hood.

What i did for my gen2 was relocated it to the hatch release lever. I bought the four door release which has the key cylinder and can lock it. the hatch was on a solenoid so I did need the inside release lever.
