Recommendations for a budget 4 channel Amp!
Like the topic says, I'm looking for a decent quality, clean output, 4 channel amp for under 200 dollars to replace my old Alpine that got jacked. Suggestions are welcome! I basically need to know which companies to stick with, or any specific models.
TIA!

Spend another 57 bucks and you can have one of these shipped:

Lots of bang, for not much buck. JBL's are pretty good for the cash (150 bucks for a 4 channel). http://www.buyloud.com has some good deals on alpine amps if you want to stick with alpine. My suggestion for that price range and what you want would be an MTX 4244. Goes for $199 on buyloud.

Well, is this amp going to your main speakers or are two of the channels goign to a sub and two of them to the front two speakers? If you are sending a channel to each of your main speakers, then 200W is plenty (50W x 4 @ 4 ohm) unless you are running component speakers in which case you could go for soem more wattage.

Hmm...I'm guessing 200W should do? I'm not a fan of super loud music, so just a sufficient amount should do.
I'm new to all this car audio stuff so bear with me.
