it doesn't sound like static.. i dunno your sub is def over powering everything. You don't need rear speakers, but i think your cranking them to try to hear over the sub

currently buying a clarion 745mp because my deck stopped playing cd's. it should bring more power to everything and it has anti distortion so thats a good thing.
