RCA noise problems..help..me
i installed an amp on my friends tacoma..and when i started the car it made this weird buzzing noise..it stops when i unplug the rca cables..i have installed plenty of amps before but this never happened..
heres what i installed:
cheesy (swap meet) 4 channel amp, 2 jl audio 12s
heres how i installed it:
i put the amp under the driver seat
i ran the power cord on the driver side
rca cables down the center console
ground cable on the seat bolt (whatever)
i used an amp wire kit so i guess wires are good.
im not into sounds but its fun

is the amp only running the subs? Is there a low pass filter on the amp?
Run a ground to ground the head unit to the SAME spot as the amp, close to the amp. This noise is usually caused by ground loops.
THANKS SP for all your help!
