Default Radio/clock problem

Ok so i had my stereo working and the clock...when i was trying to plug something in the back and i pulled it out the clock and stereo stopped working. Now the fuse is fine. I checked it and its not blown. When i reconnected my stock stereo it works...the clock on the other hand does not. When put the aftermarket stereo in it didn't work. Can anyone help me?

Default Re: Radio/clock problem (Liquidgsr)

You have blown the back up power fuse, it is a 7.5A in under hood fuse box, used only for memory, [radio pre-sets] on the stock HU, however it is aftermarket HUs main power, 7.5A may not be enough current for your aftermarket HU, DO NOT replace the 7.5A fuse with a bigger one, [replace with a 7.5A] just run a fused 12-10 gauge lead from the batt. to behind the HU and connect the HU constant power, [yellow] to it, just like you would an off board amp.
Don't forget to cap off the stock constant power, [white/blue] or yellow if you are using a harness adapter. 94
