Default Radar Detector Placement

Where in your opinion is the best/logical place to put a Radar in a 92-95 Civic?

If it matters I have a Bel Vector 940

Thanks,

Jin

I keep reading that placing the detector at the highest point possible is the best...isn't the dash the lowest place possible?

yup.. just try to get it so the lcd screen is facing out the rear window, thats all u need to get, cuz if u do that, then the rear of the detector is automatically facing out the front..

also theres a thread that they just had, and it had pictures and all that of the perfect place to stash it.. they had some trick ideas.. check it out. search

Put it right above your rearview mirror, if possible. Highest is best to pick up guns from further distances. Plus, this location gives you instant access to power running to cabin lighting, right? Tap into it. Get rid of the 4' dangly cord bouning & hanging all over dash/in front of deck & sticking out of cig lighter, possibly blocking a cup holder... UGH!
