Roll Cage Q's.....
what I am looking for is......is there any company that makes the front "A" pillar bars that come from the rear main hoop behind the driver head, and comes forward and makes the bend to go down the windshield and into the air vent on the top side of the dash? You can see in my rough sketch of the red lines. I need the bar that goes from the rear hoop, beside the drivers head and down through the dash air vent for a 2000 Honda civic hb.

Probably something thats gonna have to be done custom and they'll need the car. Also, if you do it that way, the dash will never come out without destroying it first.

Yeah, I am working with a local guy to do the fab, but I figured I asked first. I am not working about taking the dash out after that. If I had to though, I could just notch the dash and slide it off.

thats not going to be an easy one to fab either. There will need to be more than one compound bent to make it around the gauges and into the vent. Most rollcages run right down that a-pillar.

Yeah, this is still a street car so I am trying to keep it as clean and tight as possible.

you will have to remove your ac vent tube to along with all the other obstacles in the way. i think your under dash support bar is right there too.

Yeah, I am going to cut out a channel all the way through the dash down so that we can run the bar through there.

I just did that, the bigget problem is that if you front cut the dash to slide it in and out then you have to cut the VIN plate. I side cut mine, here is a pic to give you an idea. If you want a better one let me know and I'll take one when I get home from school for you.

Yea i would suggest him too... He's building one for me right now and that thing is top notch...Use high quality material and the door bars have a clevis that allows it to be removable...
If you bring it to him, I "think" he might use your car to do a jig and hook you up on your cage

If you are looking for material I would contact Art Morrison enterprises in Seattle, WA. I run one of there 8pt kits in my race car. I have dealt with them alot and in a situation like yours they can send you a spec sheet take the measurements and bend all the bars so the fit the way you want. I think custom 8pt chromoly cages were around $700.00 w/ shipping, but I dont live that far away either.
