Quick Sub box design questions
I'm designing a sealed Sub box(don't want to get too crazy for my first design). I'm going to use 8" kickers and 5x7 Infininity Reference 6800s.
1. When calculating volume, do you exclude the volume of the sub itself? When I calculated it out and designed it...it just seemed small.
2. Is it ok to install componant speakers into a sealed box as long as they are isolated from the Sub? Meaning they are in a seperate chamber.
3. What guage terminal cups should I be using?...I was thinking of 10 guage
Thanks in advanced

1: you only need to add the displacement of the sub into the size of the box
2: yea, they sould sound a lil punchy, and cleaner that way
3: All up to you, this can't be anwsered with a "only", you can use any you want, its totally up to you.
