Default question on wiring subs to amp

ok, I have two 10 inch subs in a box that arent wired yet. behind where the sub fits, are the terminals. Since there are two subs, there are two terminals. My question is, would I be able to wire the subs up to both terminals, then after i wired them up to connect both positives from both subs and both negatives from both subs, crimp them and then connect to the amp so i basically only have 1 neg and 1 pos going into my amp

It is possible, depends on your subs and amp. You have to make sure that the load is correct after you wire them in series or parallel.

the way you are describing it is connecting it in parallel. if your subs are both 4 ohms then it would make it 2 ohms. if your amp is capable of handling that then it should be fine.

We need to know whether your subs are dual voice coil and what ohm load your amp can take
