I'm putting my system in
JVC KD-SX990 (come w/ the car, & its doing the job well, I'll keep it untill I have $ to buy a better one)

Simplest way is to just cut one of the cap leads, [tweeters x-over] on each speaker, [tweeters], that's what I did with mine.
Yes it will improve SQ, it will help the sounds imaging and staging, bring it up and forwards.
If that is a 4ch amp, here's another trick, wire the rear speakers in series, and connect them to the bridged rear channels of the amp, it will really help the imaging.

You do not run the rear speakers as subs, you run them in mono at full-range or if amp will allow run them low-pass but at a high x-over point, 5000Hz or higher.
